As 2017 draws to a close, the team at Takle Eye Group and their families are grateful to the community of patients that choose us for their comprehensive eye care. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful 2018! We can’t possibly highlight all that happened in a year but below is a brief recap of practice news and blogs.
After 25 years of patient care, Dr. Rowe retired and started a new adventure. We watched the solar eclipse, but not without the proper eye protection! In May we celebrated healthy vision month with educational posts to care for your eyes. In May, June, July and December we offered amazing deals on name-brand eyewear in our optical department. In December, we were so honored to have been awarded the Griffin Lion’s Club Official Proclamation of Service.
We want to keep our patients informed through content on our blog, this year we covered everything from Oculoplastics to Diabetic Retinopathy and even children’s eye health. In 2018 we want to keep educating patients regarding types of providers, exams, and insurance coverage. This year we published information about the difference between an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist, how to know what your insurance will cover, and the difference between medical and routine eye exams.
