Takle Eye Group is proud to partner with the nonprofit agency Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) to help provide low vision services to our community. Beginning December 16, Takle Eye Group will dedicate our facilities to serving people with varying degrees of visual impairment by hosting a monthly Low Vision Clinic in cooperation with CVI.
A visit to a CVI Low Vision Clinic involves a comprehensive exam from a low vision specialist and occupational therapist who are specially trained to treat patients with vision loss. All aspects of activities of daily living are evaluated to identify everyday challenges. Patients will learn how to use magnifiers and other optical and non-optical aids that will enhance independence. Patients will also be connected to a network of further resources that can help improve their quality of life.
